About us

NADT (North Allerdale Development Trust) is a registered charity (1131992) dedicated to supporting and developing community projects across North Cumbria. Our mission is to create new opportunities and enhance local facilities for the benefit of all residents in the area.

Our charitable objectives include the provision of community buildings, the promotion and support of the voluntary sector, the relief of unemployment, and the delivery of educational opportunities — with a strong focus on youth work. Everything we do is aimed at building a stronger, more resilient community.

In February 2010, the Trust took ownership of the newly refurbished Market Hall Conference and Community Building. The venue is operated directly by NADT on a not-for-profit basis, enabling us to host a wide range of community activities, events, and conferences that bring people together and support local development.
